EPISODE 9 Halimat woke up in a room that seems unfamiliar at first but she noticed the vase by her bed was the one in her room so she knew it is her room.
She stood up and still felt a slight pain at the back of her head, and the incident of the previous day came rushing in. She wondered who the mysterious person who saved her was.
She heard a knock on her door and stood up to answer it. It was one of the older ladies that lives in the other apartment.
"Watsup! Freshie, how's your night" She said puffing at a cigar. Halimat resisted scrunching her nose so the lady won't feel insulted.
"I'm fine ma" she replied gently
" Na big mama wey talk say make I come check on you, as u no well when Jackson carry you come yesterday night"
"I'm alright now ma"
" Big mama talk say make you drop by for our apartment this evening say she get something wey important follow you talk"
She said before blowing another smoke in Halimat's direction and turn around to take her leave.
Halimat went to her room to ponder over what the lady told her. Who is Jackson? Why would big mama want to talk to her, she always avoid them because of their frivolous lifestyle.
